We are not an anonymous corporation, but a startup from Berlin, more precisely: Amelie, Christina, Linda, Louise and our founder Max. Above all, one thing connects us: our passion for real raw kombucha and our mission: Happy Belly. Happy You.
In 2019, we started out, back then still in our own kitchen and filling every bottle by hand. Since then, we have continuously developed our raw kombucha, without ever compromising.
Kombuchery is much more than just a drink.
It's alive. With millions of active microorganisms that make you feel good with every sip.
It's pure enjoyment. The sparkling refreshment that makes you and your body happy.

Made with love. In every bottle
Kombuchery is one of the few raw kombuchas still produced using traditional fermentation, without concentrates or artificial additives.
Most importantly: Thanks to our complex fermentation process and the PrioBiotic formula, the healthy cultures, nutrients, and natural vitamins are preserved in every bottle. This creates a unique taste that has already won the Great Taste Award eight times.
We are uncompromising in this regard and do not believe in pasteurization or too much sugar.

From problem
to solution
It started in childhood
Our first encounters with kombucha and SCOBYs date back many decades. Even our grandmothers fermented the drink with the strange name. It was supposed to protect us from colds and stomach aches. Back then, kombucha tasted more like a bland and overly sweet tea, which didn't really appeal to us.
A few years later, we were proven wrong and discovered a huge variety of kombucha while traveling around the world. Back in Germany, we desperately searched for the various refreshing varieties and simply couldn't find anything comparable.
Our Vision Was Born
It quickly became clear to us that we had to bring the many benefits of real kombucha to Germany. In 2019, Max founded the startup Kombuchery in Berlin and started with hundreds of experiments for the perfect taste.
He swore never to compromise on production and quality. Since the first bottle, Kombuchery has been 100% organic and a genuine, unpasteurized raw kombucha. Through Kombuchery's continued traditional production, we can build on Grandma's tradition and redefine kombucha with exciting, refreshing flavors.
We are changing the beverage industry
All beginnings are difficult, and the German food retail industry isn't exactly known for innovative and healthy products. But we didn't give up and built a fantastic team of diverse kombucha lovers. We all have our own unique story about kombuchery, whether from abroad or from our childhood.
Year after year, Kombuchery and our team have grown. In total, over 100,000 customers have already consumed several million bottles, following their gut feeling. True to the motto: "Happy Belly. Happy You." This is our daily motivation and, for us, makes Kombuchery the best drink in the world, day after day.
